Greetings from the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) in Singapore! As one of the three representative offices of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) in the ASEAN region, covering Singapore, Laos and Vietnam, as well as India, we are delighted to see growing economic and people-to-people ties between Hong Kong and these four countries in recent years.
The Business Seminar is one of the celebratory events for the 25th Anniversay of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of this Office. It aims to promote the opportunities arising from Hong Kong's role as an international transportation centre in relations to the shipping and logistics sectors as supported by the Central Government under the National 14th Five-Year Plan. Targeted audience will include industry players such as shipowners, ship managers, maritime services providers (e.g. maritime arbitrators and ship brokers), as well as shipping and logistics companies in Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.
